I have  over thirty years experience of typesetting and proofreading gained through working for major printing companies in London including The Stationery Office, Oyez Press and more recently for other publishers. I have dealt with copy from both sides and this experience is extremely useful for proofreading.
My work includes magazines, complex book text, lengthy balance sheets and annual reports for blue chip companies, government bills and government white papers. The government work required me to sign secrecy agreements and I will continue to respect confidentiality at all times.
I am available for freelance work of any shape, size or description. I work to an exacting standard on all the work I am offered in my freelance capacity.
Proofreading one's own work is a minefield where familiarity with the text blinds the author to the horrors that may lurk within it. This has been further brought home to me by compiling this website.
